Joe Romano is an Award Winning Pennsylvania filmmaker, videographer and photographer who graduated in 2023 with degrees in Media and Communication, Film Studies, and Documentary Storymaking from Muhlenberg College. He has been working as a photographer and videographer for over 6 years but has been practicing much longer. His passion for filmmaking developed throughout his childhood while making films with friends and on his own. His work ranges from documentary to fiction, and even experimental. His films have played nationally and internationally at various film festivals, and his senior thesis film, Banana Tree, recently won Best Student Film at the 2024 Red Rose Film Festival.
